i know everyone has a guacamole recipe, but this one is tried and true, tested and then loved by all whose pallets it has graced.
1.5 avocados sliced in half, seeded and mashed into a bowl, keep 1 seed for later
4 tbsp minced red onion, add to bowl
1 vine ripe plum tomato chopped, add to bowl
2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro, add to bowl
1-2 chile serrano minced, add to bowl
1 lime’s juice squeezed into bowl
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp chile piquin powder
salt to taste
stir, then add avocado seed into mix to keep the guacamole from turning brown and serve immediately with freshly fried tortilla chips and beer.
